Double chin surgery in Seoul: chin liposuction, platysma tightening and neck lift

What is causing your double chin?

Double chin surgery starts with the tissue creating the fullness. Chin liposuction removes superficial fat; platysmaplasty addresses the muscle; a neck lift can also remove excess skin.[1][2]

Fullness, bands or loose skin?

A fold under the chin can contain more than superficial fat. Deeper fat, the digastric muscles and the submandibular glands also contribute to neck contour. An examination looks at the neck at rest and with the platysma moving, checks the skin, and considers the transition from the lower face to the neck.[1]

Choose a starting point

Planning a combined operation

When both superficial fat and muscle laxity contribute, liposuction and platysmaplasty may be combined. Substantial skin excess brings skin removal into the discussion. The procedure name should explain these separate tasks.[1][2]

Preparing for a consultation in Seoul

Describe the location you want assessed: directly under the chin, the front of the neck or the jawline. If you are traveling to Korea, put in-person postoperative appointments and communication after returning home on the same planning list as the operation.

For an individual surgical discussion, you can start with AVANT Plastic Surgery in Sinsa and explain the area that concerns you.
